HISTORY:
I was born in California on October 31st. I was my parents pride and joy. My mother had miscarried a few times before she had me, and then she couldn't get pregnant after me. I was their miracle baby. They showered me with all that they could. We weren't poor, but we were nowhere near rich. My mom quit her job as a nursing home aid to raise me, while my dad worked at a college, teaching an English class.

I started school at the age of four, going to preschool. That's where I met my life long best friend, Mandy. From the very beginning of our friendship, we were inseparable. We would have play dates very often, and we would have sleep overs sometimes. I really didn't like staying away from home, not even for a night. Mandy normally slept over my house because of that. When we were ending preschool, we got really sad. We didn't want to go to different schools and not see each other again. Luckily, on the first day of kindergarten, we saw each other. That's when I knew she was supposed to be in my life.

Our families became really close, and when we were twelve, her older brother and I started dating. Well, as much dating as a twelve and fourteen year old could. We went to the movies, and we hung out at each others houses, but nothing else. It ended quickly and painlessly for me, which I was grateful for. Even though it didn't hurt much at all, Mandy planned a girls night so I could 'get my mind off it'. I think she just wanted to get away from her brother and his moping.

One night, when we were fifteen, Mandy and I were hanging out at my house, watching some movies while our parents went out for a double date to some fancy restaurant. We both fell asleep on the couch, and our parents didn't want to wake us up, so Mandy stayed the night. My mom got a call an hour later, and she rushed us all to the hospital. Mandy's parents had gotten in a car wreck, and they hadn't made it. In the reading of their will, they left Mandy and her brother to us. It took Mandy about a year to get to feeling better about it, and I was there for her at all times.

When I was eighteen, I went off to college. It was hard for me to leave my family and Mandy, but I had to. After a semester, Mandy switched schools to be closer to me. I called my parents every night, and whenever something major happened. We both went back for holidays and birthdays and little things like that.

I got a job at the local library my first year of college, too. I fell in love with the library system, and I switched my major from nursing to literature and creative writing. The more I was in my new major, the more I loved it. When I was twenty, I had my first serious boyfriend. We met at the library, and he invited me to an open mic. We dated for about a year. I was pretty torn up about it, but Mandy took care of me. When I graduated, she and I moved to San Francisco. I got a job at Daze High school as the librarian, and she opened her own cupcakery.

Claire has honey blonde hair that reaches just below her shoulders in slight waves. She has big blue eyes, and a porcelain skin complexion. She's an average height of five feet, five inches, and she's got a sporty figure. Her shoulders are more squared, as is the rest of her body. When she's at the school, she likes to wear skirts or dresses. She doesn't wear jeans, even on days they're allowed, to work. She views it as unprofessional. She puts on her make-up, and she wears heels. She fixes her hair. She thinks the work place is a place where you are to look professional. Not casual.

In her free time, she's more laid back. Nice tops with jeans and flats, is what she wears. She doesn't wear much, if any, make up when she's not at work or some fancy thing. She normally leaves her hair down or throws it in a pony-tail. If she were to go on a date, it would be something like if she were going to work.
