HISTORY:
Shay was born in New York City, New York, on January 8th 1996 the daughter of Charlotte Reid, an interior designer, and Neil Reid, a realtor. She had an older brother, Shane, and her uncle is fitness trainer Drew Reid. Her father’s family is British however, her maternal grandfather is Irish. Shay had been home-schooled since she had come to Daze.

In that year, Shay’s family moved from New York to Los Angeles California for her parent job’s to take off. She met a lot of people and learned she had a true passion for acting. She started taking acting classes. That same time was the 9-11 bombings where Shay soon found out about both her parents, who were in New York at the time, had died in the first tower. Shay and her brother moved in with their uncle Drew who took them in as his own.

Five years went by, Shay went to her classes, while her brother who was now fourteen, and doing drugs and robbing people. He also started carrying a gun with him. And one day with the mixed of horrid state of mind, drugs, and a gun, Shane killed himself by shooting a bullet into his brain. Now with just ten years old, living with her uncle, being a orphan and brother less, there was nothing Shay could do but hope. Hope for more hope, that she would have an advantage of one day being the person she wanted to be. Seven years later her uncle showed her the website for Daze High and Shay decided she wanted to go there. She had a feeling it would be the place for her.

Shay still takes acting classes and still doesn't have a lot of friends. She usually hangs out in the music room or in her dorm. She's learned to play piano on top of her acting classes. She always hangs by herself and tries to keep a low profile. She doesn't talk to her uncle anymore because he hasn't tried to talk to her. she has also started to write her own music which she loves. Her days at Daze are looking up, but will that stay the same?
