HISTORY:
Maya was born to Aaron and Georgana Reid on Halloween 17 years ago in Seattle Washington. Her mother was a nurse and her father is a physical therapist. Maya was her parents shining star from the very beginnning. She is very smart and her mother signed her up for pano lessons when she was 6.

At age 7 Maya's little brother David was born, but due to a birth defect he is a paraplegic. Maya became very protective of her brother from the time he was born. If her brother started to cry she was there for him, if he needed something she got it for him. Maya's parents always called her, her brother's angel in disguise.

As Maya grew older so did her love for the arts, her artwork covered the face of the refrigerator and you couldn't walk into her house without hearing a piano or a violin, as well as a french horn when she got to middle school. But Maya has always admitted that she would rather be at home play Halo or Call of Duty with her brother then spending time shopping or hanging out at the mall like a normal teenager.

At age 13 Maya's mother was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkin's Lymphoma and it scared Maya to no end. He mother went through constant surgeries, radiation treatments, and chemotherapy hoping to cure the cancer. While Maya took over the role of mother and keeper of the house. She had to grow up too fast. Life took a devastating turn when Maya's mother passed away on her 17th birthday after fighting her cancer for over 4 years. Maya fell into a depression which she is on medication for.

After her mother's death, Maya's fathter made the decision to leave Seattle and move to San Francisco. Seattle was where he and her mother grew up, feel in love, and raised their children. But her constant reminder was too much. So Maya packed up all of her things and her cat and dog, leaving all the friends she had even known to make a new start in California with her brother and her dad.

APPEARANCE: Maya is 5'4", 119 lbs, she has amber hazel eyes, and has a lean athletic build. She has caramel brown hair, and a tan complexion. She has a tattoo that is a star made of treble clefs on her left wrist, and a tattoo of an Aesculapius with a banner wrapped around it on her left shoulder blade that says " Life is eternal, love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight " in memory of her mother.
