HISTORY: Amethyst's mother was always a bit of a hippie. Despite the fact that her teens and early 20s were spent in the 90s, Sandra was all about free love and showed much interest in nature. She had an affair with a married man (Amethyst's father) which ended when Sandra got pregnant. That and his name are all Amethyst knows about her father. Sandra also keeps most information about her family a secret and has refused to speak to them for 21 years.

Amethyst and her mom move a lot. There have been many times she's come home from school to find all of her stuff packed and had to leave right on the spot. Because of that, she's always had trouble making/keeping friends, and she also has trouble in school despite her intelligence. She's also had trouble with bullying at a couple of the schools she's attended.

Amethyst and her mom are very close, and they spend a lot of time together. Smoking pot and baking (as in food) are the two activities they do most together. They also have a dog named Woogie. Amethyst's mom grants her a lot of freedoms because she trusts her. However, Amethyst rarely has anything to do outside of the house (usually a trailer) because, you know, lack of friends and whatnot.

Recently, Sandra and Amethyst randomly moved yet again, this time to Petaluma, California. There, Sandra met a man named Ken Snyder, and they quickly began a romance. For once, Sandra is attempting a real relationship rather than a quick fling. After being together for some time, Ken asked Sandra to move in with him in his house in San Francisco. Of course, Amethyst is going with, (as well as Woogie heehee) but hopefully, after moving this time, they'll stay put awhile.

APPEARANCE: Amethyst naturally has dark hair, but she bleaches it blonde and currently keeps it short. She has fair skin and green eyes. She's known to have a bit of a pout. She's rather short (5' 3") and very thin and petite. She's no stranger to t-shirts as most of her clothes come from thrift stores and dumpsters.
