HISTORY:
Adeline was born into a loving family though her mom was a little different. Her mom had been depressed in the past, but her father kept her mother at bay and when her mom wasn't happy Adeline wouldn't really know it. Other than a few accidents her mother's break downs were kept from her. Adeline was a very happy child and her family wasn't rich, but they weren't poor either and things were going well. Then when Adeline was eleven one day her father just didn't come home. Her mother told Adeline that her father just didn't want to be with them anymore and so she didn't see her father for awhile.
Things changed in Adeline's life after that. Her mother started drinking and her depression became more and more noticeable. Adeline's mom was bitter and mean about things where anger was not called for. Adeline wondered why her father left her, but when she asked her mother she would say things like "Because he didn't like us," or "I don't know, we're not good enough for him." As Adeline got older she would ask her mom about her drinking and her mother would get mad. She would blame life and call herself a bad mother, she would talk about dying and how she wanted to kill herself because everything was going wrong and Adeline only twelve or thirteen would just sit there and listen and never feel good enough to keep her mother happy.
By the time Adeline was fifteen or sixteen she would start to talk back to her mother because she was realizing the way her mother acted wasn't right. Adeline was bitter and angry with life. She started taking her mother's drinks and getting drunk to block out the feeling of never being good enough and she started self harming to get her mothers attention. One day her father showed up at the door and saw the state of things and smelled the alcohol on Adeline's breath. He walked through the house, but couldn't find Marie so he took Adeline and left. Marie called him furious, she wanted Adeline back. He simple said no and Marie hung up. He took her to court and got custody of Adeline.
John told Adeline that her mother kicked him out after a fight they had about Marie going to see a therapist and he never left her. He called the house phone and her mother, but her mother wouldn't let him speak to her. He didn't come get her because Marie wouldn't let him and he would forever feel guilty about not coming sooner. Adeline resented her father for awhile, but he put her in therapy and six months since she last saw her mother she was doing better. While Adeline was living with her mother John got a good job and got married so Adeline was happy, but she wanted to try something new where she could be independent and learn to be okay on her own. John sent her to Daze High and now she's a new girl trying very hard to get along by herself so she and the people around her can trust her again.

Adeline has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She doesn't spend too much time getting ready in the morning so she has a sort of effortless look. This doesn't mean she doesn't care about her appearance and it doesn't mean she has bad style. She has a bit of a toned down vintage style approach when it comes to her clothing. She also really likes make-up. Before Adeline came to Daze high she didn't take very good care of herself and she dressed more edgy, but now she is coming out of that part of her life.
LIKES:
She likes anything that has to do with wishes and dreaming like 11:11 or dandelions because they make her feel hopeful.
She likes reading books and poetry because she likes the idea of escaping reality.
She loves music, she would die if she didn't have her ipod for a day.
She likes anything that has to do with the sky like birds and flying and clouds, it all makes her feel free and dreamy.
She likes taking pictures and journalism.
She also likes her Beta fish named Oliver and tea.
DISLIKES:
She doesn't like being alone. She gets bored easy and starts thinking although her thoughts aren't as bad as they used to be. When she's alone at school it makes her very paranoid. She's just not very good at feeling lonely.
She doesn't like being in the dark whether it be outside or inside it makes her very anxious.
She doesn't like when things are dirty, it makes her feel like she's not in control and I don't think anyone really likes messes.
She hates ignorant people or ignorant acts. That means people who bully, bullying, people who laugh at things like self harm. Anyone who is hurtful or offends someone because they don't know about something bothers her and she tries to help those people.
She doesn't like fast food, it's greasy and doesn't taste good to her. That's practically all she ate when she was younger and so she hates it.
FEARS:
She fears the silence or being alone because she doesn't want to think herself into doing something stupid with no one there to stop her. She's also afraid of worms when they come onto the roads while it's raining, noises when there is no one home, and the dark. She's also afraid of not being enough and that's her mom's fault.
SECRET:
Her whole past is basically a secret. She doesn't want people to know about her mom or how messed she used to be or even still is.
GOAL:
Adeline's goal at the moment is to forget about her past and just be a normal happy teenager.
