FAMILY:
Father: Roderick Michael Evans (39)
Mother: Kendra Quinn Evans (39)
Younger Sister: Paisley Eloise Evans (12)
Younger Sister: Kynlie Gisele Evans (10)
HISTORY:
Perfection, forever the name of the game for Kendra and Roderick Evans. The couple met in high school, both doted-upon single children. Kendra was a cheerleader from the beginning, Roderick a football player since elementary school. They began dating at sixteen, and it only continued the vicious cycle of maintaining their image. Though neither graduated at or even near the top of their class, that was hardly their concern; in fact, they met their only goal, being prom king and queen, as expected. When Roderick decided to take up the offered football scholarship to college, Kendra unexpectedly decided not to follow him, but rather remain at home, near her family, and take classes at the community college nearby. It was a mystery to everyone; what they didn't know, and what nobody would know for a while yet, was that throughout her time with Roderick, she hadn't been totally faithful. The other man happened to be the primary reason for remaining at home.
Upon Roderick's graduation, he and Kendra married in a large and expensive ceremony, football now a part of his past; instead, he was now poised to work in finance, despite how he'd struggled through high school. He by then prided himself on how he'd turned it around for himself, and Kendra played the role of the immensely proud wife. And she truly was. Now married and committed to Roderick, she considered her affair completely a thing of the past. Two years after they married, they found they were expecting their first child, a daughter, Braith Chloe, born on April 8th, 1998.
Braith was absolutely everything they'd dreamed of, though, objectively, she was no different than any other baby girl, though she was particularly high-maintenance, always wanting to be held or paid attention to. Though Roderick worked long hours, he and Kendra were more than happy to please their little girl however she demanded. They were extremely proud of her, to the point of it being obnoxious for others to listen to. When Braith was two, their second daughter, Paisley Eloise, was born, and two years after that came Kynlie Gisele.
They appeared just as they worked to-- perfect. Kendra worked hard to maintain the image of a devoted trophy wife, and pushed her daughters to be the best, as well. It wasn't a house without love, but Kendra was quite simply obsessed with looking perfect to the rest of the world. It had always been her dream, and there was no way she wasn't getting it. Life wasn't particularly unhappy for Braith and her sisters, being that their father brought in more money than they knew what to do with and they were as a result spoiled rotten. Like in any other home, there were age limits on a few things, but for the most part, what they asked for, they received. Somehow, Braith wasn't the little terror she should have been; but that was likely because nobody ever said no. Why throw a fit when you're already getting what you asked for?
Braith was their perfect little angel until she entered middle school, when the Evans household began to secretly deteriorate. It was when she was twelve that her mother deemed it appropriate to explain dieting to her, and not in the best way. Kendra changed nothing about her oldest daughter's diet, simply made her aware of the process of it-- and that changed everything. It began Braith's obsession with keeping track of her diet. She didn't think she was in bad shape, but a new fear overcame her, and it was just the one that her mother seemed to have; the fear of not appearing perfect. It wasn't about being happy, it was about appearing happy. Braith did just that, and try as she might, she could never quite get over it again.
Things could only go downhill from there. Kynlie, just barely nine at the time of the next incident, overheard their mother on the phone with someone and caught a few things that sparked her suspicions, so, naturally, she immediately told Braith, by then the most determined (and not concerned about the possibility of getting in trouble) Evans daughter. Though it was clearly the wrong thing to do (and in the back of her mind she knew that well), she decided to do some investigating, going through her mother's phone. Upon doing so, she found plenty of evidence to prove that she was getting pretty damn close to another man in her spare time. Armed with this information, she confronted her mother, who, shockingly, did not fight the accusation; nor did she even seem upset that it was being leveled against her. She was painfully honest with her oldest daughter-- she had been having an affair, with the same man she'd run around with prior to her marriage to her father, and the rekindling of the side romance wasn't recent, either. She'd been seeing him since the girls were quite young. Shocked, Braith immediately told her father, who was just as blunt. He'd known for a while now, and even his short business trips were sometimes excuses to be out of the house to see various girlfriends. Their image as a family was what was most important to them, and their obsession with it had kept it together in the first place. Not the most comforting thing one could tell their teenage daughter.
Feeling betrayed, Braith stopped talking to her parents so much, and encouraged her sisters to do the same, demanding that for anything they'd normally go to Kendra for, they now take to her. But she didn't completely cut Mom and Dad off-- a poor little rich girl still needs her lifeline, and now that Braith knew their little secrets and was most likely of all of the girls to tell everyone in their little world all about them, she found herself in a position of power. Well, one of greater power. If she'd had her daddy wrapped around her little finger before, it only got worse from that point on. Still, she couldn't help but hate having to see them. It wasn't as if she'd always considered herself the most loyal person (really, by that point, she knew she was quite a manipulative, occasionally rotten person) but she did consider family ties to be sacred, and the fact that both of her parents would do such a thing, and maintain their marriage and "perfect" family life for appearances? It quite frankly disgusted her, and she couldn't bring herself to stay any longer. Though it meant leaving her sisters, now the most important people in her life, Braith requested that she be allowed to spend the best years of her life elsewhere.

[/b]APPEARANCE:
Braith is a very small girl, something she gets from her mother. She's only about 5'2", and is pretty obviously done growing. She's very slim, not completely due to her obsession with staying that way; every female in her immediate family is quite tiny. She's also very pale. She has long, straight medium brown hair that reaches to about the middle of her back, which she often spends quite a bit of time playing with in the morning. Her favorite thing about herself, however, are her eyes, which are fairly big and bright blue.
Braith is definitely a girly girl when it comes to clothes. She loves to shop and play dress up, a fan of anything pretty, often pink. She loves to even be wearing something pretty when she's not planning on going out, but she never rules out sweatpants and a tee shirt, as long as they're cute enough.
LIKES:
-Her sisters. They're just about her babies at this point.
-Having money. Especially when it comes out of Daddy's pocket.
-Guys. She's very worried about having a relationship stronger and more honest than that of her parents, and desperately craves the affection they weren't great at giving her.
-Looking good. It can at times become an obsession. She wants to be beautiful.
-Being a bitch. To people who deserve it, of course. It makes her feel in control.
-Being in power, especially when it means she's got those who've hurt her in the palm of her hand.
-Taking her anger out on those who she feels deserve it.
DISLIKES:
-Cheating.
-Lying, though she does it herself not infrequently. She never pretends
-Her parents.
-How often she worries about her diet. She works as hard as she can to overcome this, but she's not the most successful.
-People who will do anything to maintain their public image.
-So-called 'perfect' people.
-Being unhappy with herself. She feigns confidence when she's feeling insecure for this reason.
FEARS:
-Having her trust betrayed again.
-Being like her mother.
-Being unhappy with her physical appearance. She's privately extremely critical of herself.
-Getting stuck in an unhappy relationship.
-Getting pregnant or being forced to have a family before she's ready.
-Being alone.
-Being a terrible mother someday.
SECRET:
-She's deathly afraid of not being beautiful enough for herself and for others. She's had it somewhat accidentally put in her mind that there is such a thing as being physically perfect and she must remain the way she is, how her parents have kept her. It only extends as far as herself, because she's never had trouble finding others beautiful. She's extremely protective of this.
-That she's really not happy. She'll admit to being angry over things, but the actual unhappiness is what she keeps to herself.
GOAL:
-To be happily married someday with a family.
-To make sure her sisters have good lives unaffected by the failings of their parents.
-To just be happy without it depending on others.
MENTIONABLES:
-This girl. Ooooh man, this girl. She's painfully honest, especially when it comes to how others have screwed up in her life. She's not ashamed to tell people that both of her parents were unfaithful. She doesn't see it as anything she should be ashamed of. It's a reflection on her parents, not her.
-While she's painfully honest, she's veeeeery private about her insecurities and her emotions. She considers showing people that she's upset a weakness. Letting anyone see her get upset or even cry is a death sentence.
-Most of all, she can be a real bitch, this one, though in specific ways. She's judgmental only of a certain type-- those who appear perfect, or try to seem like they are. She's not one to directly insult, or make petty ones, either. She prefers a passive-aggressive approach to being mean, and she's shameless about it.
-She can be a bit of a scary mama bear, especially when it comes to her little sisters or people she's close to, but it doesn't take much to have her turn on you.
-Brae can hold a grudge like no other. If you've ever even vaguely hurt her, chances are she still resents you.
