FAMILY:His mother is an alcoholic, and his father a businessman. He has two older brothers he doesn't feel very close to.
HISTORY:Alex grew up the baby of a small family, with two overachieving older brothers he was always fighting for attention with. His mother was an alcoholic, and even from a young age he was afraid of ending up like her. His father was a businessman and cared deeply enough about her to forgive it, but not enough about Alex to make him feel like he belonged. Feeling like an outcast in his own family, he sought friends and acceptance elsewhere as he grew older, eventually falling in with the wrong crowds. He's always done passably in school, getting B's and C's, although he's intelligent enough to get straight A's if he applied himself. Unfortunately, most of his time has always been spent ogling girls, skateboarding, or fighting a mild drug addiction.

As Alex grew up through elementary, he became best friends with another guy his age, Evan. Evan introduced him to skateboarding, which became a hobby he was fond of, and Alex introduced him to cars - something he'd picked up from his older brothers. One day after school they discovered an abandoned, wooded area between their houses, and this became a favorite secret meeting place of theirs. They set up a clubhouse of sorts, posting pornographic pictures and smoking cigarette butts as they talked about girls, imagining they were older than they were. It was here that Evan brought a small amount of Meth, one day after school, and the two boys used it together, developing a mild addiction.

Later, while they were in Junior High, Evan fell by the wayside. His meth addiction had worsened to the point he had no control over it anymore, shutting out friends and family. Alex tried to help him out of it as best he could, but nothing helped, and his friend's condition only grew worse. When his friend overdosed and died, Alex was devastated and vowed he'd never meet the same fate. Unfortunately, quitting meth isn't as easy as Alex would've preferred to believe and he fights a minor addiction to this day.

Alex had always been a chaser, following after women whenever he could and trying to lure them in with words of false romance. Partway through his Freshman year, he fell in love with a girl, Bella Atrodici, and swore off other women, hoping to win her over. He eventually fell so desperately in love that he swore off cigarettes to please her. Unfortunately, Bella refused to return his affectations and even claimed she'd had sex with another boy, and that she was in love with him. Heartbroken, Alex spent the next week alone, skipping school and hanging out in the woods where he and Evan had once hung out. He began smoking again, drinking for the first time in his life.

Eventually Alex straightened out a little more, easing out of his addictions and swearing off romantic relationships altogether. He busied himself with cars and school, but the latter eventually wore down to its previous level. He still struggles with drugs on rare occasions, usually his worst days. Apart from that he is a very upbeat person, even if rather reckless.

APPEARANCE:Alex is about 5' 9" tall. He has straight blond hair he keeps moderately close-cropped, but he doesn't keep it neat. He keeps what he has of a beard clean-shaven, and has a nice jawline for it. His eyes are a greenish-gray. His voice isn't particularly deep, but it's pleasant enough and of a decent pitch, though he can't really sing. He prefers wearing jackets when he can, particularly his favorite black, hooded one.
