HISTORY:

Daniella is the youngest child and only daughter of Rebecca and Michael Quinn. That, alone, is enough o have her spoiled rotten, but add to the fact that she was born blind, and you have a whole other case.

Dani was born in Seattle, Washington. Her father was a published author, while her mother had a masters in meteorology and worked on the news forecasting weather. This made life pretty good for Dani and her older brother Josh, never really having to scrounge for money. Josh was two years her senior and was always there to back up his blind little sis, but that didn’t mean they were perfect siblings. Despite her disabilities, Dani strived to be as independent as possible, and had a habit of pushing people away when they tried to help her, and while her parents understood, her brother often felt put out, especially as her disability often annoyed him because she would be too cautious. And, of course, what would this family be without a little sibling jealousy? She was jealous of his freedom and independence, he was jealous of her being spoiled, getting whatever she wanted, and that she was being babied by their parents. So they fought, a lot, but all it meant was that they cared.

Growing up, Dani had two main loves. Music, and animals. In particular, she loved Queen and Michael Jackson, not getting her Indie flair until she was eleven or twelve. When she was three or four, her favourite song was Bohemian Rhapsody and she would often request that her father play it. Joshua started to hate that song verrrry quickly, especially as she sang along. For her fourth birthday, her parents bought two Yorkie puppies, a black male and his white sister. She promptly named the black one Bemean and the white one Raspy, unable to actually say Bohemian Rhapsody. She also occasionally called Bohemian, Bowiemean, something that amused her parents to no end.

Dani had always had an ear for music. When she was four, she’d been put into piano lessons and, though she couldn’t se, she picked it up fairly easily. So, for her seventh birthday, she received two big presents. A tortie ragdoll cat which she named Queenie and an acoustic guitar with five lessons. If she liked them, she could continue taking lessons.

When she was ten, she also got a Seeing Eye dog, named Koda. Up until then, she’d been relying on a walking stick instead. Koda and she became the best of friends, something she was glad for, since up until then she hadn’t had any close friends aside from her brother and her pets.

Of course, what Dani hadn’t really realized was that her parents had often bought her presents for an apology. When she’d gotten the puppies, it was an apology for the fact that Rebecca couldn’t spend much time with her kids because of work. Queenie had been given as an apology for moving to San Francisco. And when she was twelve, going on thirteen, she was given three budgies named Lyric, Melody and Harmony as an apology for Josh going off to a boarding high school called Daze.

Dani continued through her schooling and, once graduation rolled around, she packed up her belonging and followed her brother’s footsteps, going to Daze High and bringing Koda and the budgies along with her.

APPEARANCE: Dani is fairly short, standing at a little over 5'1 and weighing 115 lbs sopping wet, though on average it's usually between 100-105. She has a creamy brown skin tone with faint freckles along her nose. Her hair is around mid-length and is curly-wavy and a rich chocolate brown. Her eyes are large yet almond shaped, covered in thick lashes and a milk chocolate brown, seeming to have a haze over them. They've been called very expressive, though she can't see out of them. Typically, Dani wears cute two-toned dresses with a pair of flats, though on occasion she'll wear a skirt. Rarely do you see her in jeans. She almost always has her dog Koda with her, or if she doesn't she'll have her walking stick, and she always has sunglasses, if she isn't wearing them then in a purse or on her head. She doesn't wear makeup, not really knowing how to put it on, and she usually has her acoustic strapped to her back, or an iPod in her purse. She always has dog treats and bandages in her purse, the treats being for Koda and the bandages because, even if she weren't blind, she's notoriously clumsy. As a result, she also has a bunch of cuts, scars and bruises that she has no idea what they're from.
