HISTORY: Alec was born to parents Abigail McKnight nee Finley and Zachery Arturo Mcknight after a very turbulent dating period. It was actually the news of expecting a baby that had finally pushed the two together and allowed them to finally see eye to eye. Knowing this, Alec has always felt like the thread that holds his parents together there was never a moment when he found himself questioning the reason for his own existence. In his mind, if he wasn’t created for any other purpose he was created to bring them together so his mother could be happy. This was especially important to him because he could see that his mother had problems expressing herself and getting her own happiness as most of her attempts were often misunderstood as her being either standoff-ish or just plain rude. The happiness of his parents has always meant the world to him. This didn’t last very long as his parents eventually split up.
At seven, just one week after the best memory Alec could ever hope for was created his father and mother got into an argument of epic proportions. It started out as a simply custody agreement, Alec finding out shortly after they left the mountains that his parents were planning to separate, and quickly escalated from there. At the time he was up in his room, curled up in his bed with his favourite blanket and he could hear every nasty word his parents spat at each other. During the argument his name was brought up several times and those times were usually followed by even louder shouting than the previous. Things got worse when he suddenly heard footsteps running towards his room and before long his terrified mother ran in and grabbed hold of him. She pulled him from his room but by the time the two got back to the living room to head through the front door the entire room was engulfed in flames and his father was nowhere to be found. His mother managed to get them out of the house but not without him receiving a burn on his right wrist that now serves as a permanent reminder of that evening.
With the absence of his father Alec began acting up. At school he would yell at children who got on his nerves and he was always very quick to through a punch. For years he stayed bitter despite the many attempts by the ones who loved him to change this. The only thing that matter to him was trying to make his mother happy again as he hadn’t seen her smile since the incident with the fire. In his mind he had to be the one to protect her from any more harm and he took that role rather seriously as he refused and even now refusing to let a man get too close to her.
With Middle school out of the way his mother thought it might have been time to seek counselling before he entered the big waters of high school and schedule him for a double session of counselling every week for the entire summer. These sessions seemed to have paid off as he wasn’t nearly as angry as he once was and he wasn’t as quick to throw a punch. When he realized how much happier his mother was because of his new behaviour he sought to maintain it and has not gotten into much of an altercation since then. Instead he chooses to simply ignore the person convincing himself that they are a waste of time.

A change occurred somewhere around his 6th year to a dirty coloured blonde. This remained constant for a few more years but by the age of 11 lighter shades of blonde began appearing in streaks and it has settled this way since. His hair cut is generalized as being cut just around ear length and at no point in his memory can he remember having it cut any lower.
From the day he was born his eyes have been changing. At one point they were a very light shade of blue but that didn’t last very long because the colour got gradually darker. In dim light his eyes appear to be a very dark blue or perhaps even black but in actuality they are sapphire.
Standing at a good 5”10 Alec considers himself just the right height for his age. His frame is a little on the smaller size as he doesn’t pack very much in the way of muscle and this of course adds to his slender appeal. Due to the fact that he seldom left his house unless he needed to his skin lacks some amount of colour and is actually pale. This is not an exaggerated paleness as there can be colour seen on his cheeks and a few other areas and he tans easily so his skin goes from periods of being pale to having some colour. Despite this he doesn’t get very tanned very easily and will not get very dark even after hours in the sun.
