HISTORY:
Kamryn and Davi were married young. Young love blossomed fast in the small Brazilian town, and they were married at 18. Nine months to the day after they were married, they gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, whom they named Lukas Alexander. They had searched long and hard for the name, wanting him to fit in better when they did eventually move to the United States. They gave him what sounded like an American name to ensure people wouldn't make fun of him.

His parents saved every bit of money they could. They lived very simply, never going without the essentials, but not buying things they didn't need. Kamryn's father was from the US, and he told them stories about how beautiful it was, how much better it was. "You can give Lukas the world. You just need to make it there." And they were damn determined to.

When he was seven, he met a girl named Satchel. The two bonded fast, and were soon inseperable. Their parents would make jokes about them having a childhood romance. And, for the next three years, it almost looked like the two might build a strong friendship that could grow into more- but then, Satchel and her family moved.

Lukas was sad to lose his friend, but overjoyed that they could write letters back and forth. He would write bits of it in English, showing her he was learning more and more. He picked up some french from her, and started to be fluent in small parts of it. Soon, he could be considered trilingual. He studied hard in school, knowing his parents wanted him to do his very best, and it seemed that life was going great. He had no doubt that he'd see Satchel again, and one day, maybe, they'd go to America- together!

To this day, nobody knows what started the fire when he was twelve. Everyone, it is assumed, was asleep. In fact, Lukas didn't even wake up until a beam of flaming wood fell on his leg. It was his screams for help that made his father, who had already gotten his mother out, realize that the young boy hadn't gotten out. His father, Davi, was on his way to help his own parents out, but took a side route to help his son out from under the beam and out the first-floor window. "I'll be back, I promise. Go take care of your mother."

His father had gone back in to help his grandparents, but he never came out. Both sets of grandparents and his father failed to escape the flames. In the middle of the night, scared out of their minds, he and his mother left. They had lost everything. His mother knew a little bit of english, and Lukas knew a lot of both english and french. He still had the accent that most Spanish-speakers had, but still, he could speak clearly enough.

They had nowhere to go, nobody who would help them, and so, they decided to follow the path before them and pray that God would send them a miracle. They traveled for a good half a year before his mother found a job in Mexico, working in a small restaraunt and living above it, in a loft. It was there that she met Richard.

Richard was a rich, homosexual man from California. He took pity on Kamryn and her son. He became friends with the woman, and then made her an offer. They would smuggle the woman and her son into America, and he would marry her there. That way, not only could she stay in America and give her son a much better life, but he could appease his family, who didn't accept his homosexuality.

His mother agreed.

From the time he was fourteen until he was seventeen, Lukas was homeschooled. Soon, though, he begged his mother to send him to a better school. The woman who had sacrificed everything she knew so that her son could have a better life gave in easily, and Richard sent the young man he considered a son to Daze Academy.

Little does Lukas know that this will lead to him seeing someone he never thought he'd see again.

APPEARANCE: Lukas has always been called a heartbreaker by the girls around him. He has flawless, perfectly tanned skin paired with dark eyes that make everyone think he's hiding something. He has an air of mystery around him that attracts others to him with ease. He doesn't even have to try.
