HISTORY: Harleen Jane Quinzel, known as Harleen by her parents and Quinn by her friends, was born into a wealthy British family. Her father was wealthy because his parents had died and left him a massive fortune; her mother was a golddigger who had married him for his money. Growing up, she was a doll for her mother, dressed up constantly in Victorian-style outfits and paraded around for her friends too "ooh" and "ahhh" over. Her father, bless his heart, would always take her out for fun things, like horseback riding and rock climbing, but her mother was like a strict governess. She had to be the perfect young lady in her mother's eyes. Her father, thankfully, loved her as she was, and secretly bought her anything she wanted. He supported all of her hopes and dreams.

Growing up, she saw nothing but her mother tearing her father down, and then, her father's steady decline into alcoholism. The alcohol never did affect their relationship; the two were always close, and she was daddy's little girl. However, her parents' marriage was falling apart as the years went on. She started going off on her own more and more once she hit her teenage years, immersing herself in the music that her mother had once forced on her. Taking on the nickname Quinn, she started playing on the streets to earn her own money while her mother was at work, buying supplies to make her own clothing.

Although she wanted to step away from her mother's influence, she still clung to a few things. Classical music, playing piano, violin, harp, and guitar, and Victorian style clothes. She changed the clothes to fit her tastes more, but the influence was still there. She also bought elaborate makeup sets and started coloring her hair frequently. It pushed mother dearest to the very edge, and soon, the fighting often involved her. She was the main point of their arguments- her mother wanted to send her away, and her father wanted her to stay at home.

In the end, her mother won out. From the small town in California, she was sent to Daze High in San Fransisco. Her father was torn to pieces over it, as was she, but she made him a promise- she would email him daily, and visit whenever possible. Besides, it wouldn't be long before she was eighteen and she would be able to do what she wanted. She would convince her father to divorce the old hag, and help him back on his feet. Until then, she'd attempt to get a good education and do something with herself.

Ha. What a laughable concept. That would require actual work. Fuck that.

APPEARANCE: Definitely the kind of girl you won't forget, Quinn prides herself in her ability to stand out in a crowd. Her hair is always an outlandishly bright color. Currently, she's chosen fire red- but who knows where she'll go next? Surprisingly, her hair isn't fried from all of the coloring she's done. She designs all of her own clothes, a type of style that is a mix between gothic lollita and classic English style. She also has a habit of always having an instrument with her. She plays many, and whenever inspiration hits her, she wants to be ready to play. Anytime, anywhere. Her makeup is considered clownish by many, especially in contrast to her pale skin, but she doesn't quite care what others think of her. She's just happy that she can be herself. A petite girl at only 4'11" and 98 lbs, she tends to wear elaborate strappy heels to make up for her small height and likes to remind people that "it's those small ones you gotta watch, yeah?"
