Clara Rose Annabel Lee was born on March third, 1997. She was born in Walnut Creek, California to college student parents. Her parents met on their first day of college. They were both literature majors. It was love at first sight. After dating for a few years they got married and decided to start a family. Shortly after Clara Rose was born. Clara Rose was named after old names and Edgar Allen Poe's writings. Her parents were both infatuated by Edgar Allen Poe's writing. When Clara Rose was one year old, her parents planned another pregnancy. Nine months later, Edgar was born.
Clara Rose and her brother became very close as they got older. In middle school Clara started dating. Her brother would check out the guy to make sure he didn't hurt his sister. Clara fell in love with a boy named Josh in seventh grade. She lost her virginity to him. She broke it off soon after. He then went around the school bragging about it. Other boys lied and said that they'd had sex with her too. She soon decided that if she couldn't prove them wrong, she might as well become what they thought she was. She began sleeping around and her parents found out.
Her parents sent her to a boarding school in Europe, hoping that would set her straight. She spent the whole of eighth grade year there. She was brought home way more experienced and recently diagnosed with chlamydia. Her parents put her on lock down for the entire summer. Her brother's friends spent their days at her house. She began to talk to them and found out that her brother had begun to sleep around. She kept that information safe to use later if necessary. Her parents had a long iscusion with her about her actions. She promised her parents to quit her 'evil ways.'
Her parents decided to send her brother with her to Daze to keep an eye on her. She made a bargain with him. She said if he didn't tell on her she wouldn't tell on him about his dirty secret. Having her brother at the school guaranteed her more freedom. She was able to gt a dorm. Her parents told her if she was a good girl she might be able to get weekends out. She regards Daze as her prison sentence.
