FAMILY:
Reagan Daelune-Mother-teacher
Rossalyn Travis-Grandmother-former famous country singer
Jackson Daelune-Father-works for a company(Divorced Reagan)
HISTORY:
Lorelai grew up in a traditional southern household, having lived in the south her whole entire life, until she was around fifteen. Her parents were relatively wealthy, her mother owning a very popular bakery, and her father, a successful business man. Nothing was out of the ordinary as she grew up. She was like those little southern belle's you see in movies, in which they live in the beautiful Victorian house with a white picket fence and everything seems just peachy. In reality, that was true, but as she got older, things got a bit complicated.
Let's start from how her parents met. Both growing up in Nashville, both of their family's were pretty big in the country music business. Jackson's, Lorelai's father, father, was a country music store owner that contained a small recording studio inside for young musicians just wanting a little nibble of fame. Lorelai's mother's, Reagan, mother was actually quite famous during the late fifties, early sixties and early seventies. Her name was Rossalyn Travis: singer, amazing acoustic finger-picker, and song writer. A triple threat they called her. That was, until she had Reagan. Rossalyn stepped out of the spotlight after Reagan was born, feeling her child needed a normal life and not the crazy glamorous one she had lived since she was the ripe age of seventeen. So, they moved into the suburbs, and began their life as a normal family. Jackson and his father lived the bachelor life in an apartment above the music store&studio, his father being single. The two families didn't cross paths until Rossalyn took Reagan to the small store, just to show her a few of her CDs. Reagan was only seven, as was Jackson. Though they were young, I guess you could call it love at first sight.
Rossalyn began recording at the small studio just for kicks, bringing Reagan with her each time so she could play with Jackson. They were harmless best friends at first, but as they neared their teenage years, well, you know how hormones are. (: They were high school sweet hearts, and it seemed just after graduation, Reagan was carrying their first and only child.
Lorelai Claire Daelune was born on May third in nineteen ninety-five. The birth was easy, no complications, and the family was out of the hospital after a few days, ready to begin their life. They both had set out to do something in music, however, when they realized how tough the business was these days, they decided to do jobs more stable. Reagan became a teacher, and Jackson went into a well-known corporation, making his way to the top. So, to say the least, The Daelune family was more than well off.
As Lorelai got older, her parents began thinking about her future. Should they put her into music and see if she fit in with the crowd? Or, should they remove music from their family line for fear of their baby girl getting her feelings hurt? Unfortunately, they chose the latter, and the girl was thrown into the life of sports at the age of five. She did a lot of softball in her earlier years, but because of how fast she could run from base to base, they moved her into running sports such as soccer, basketball, and track. The girl loved sports. She ate, slept, and breathed sports until around sixth grade. That was when her parents began having issues with their marriage.
You know how people sometimes say "Sometimes the fire just fizzles out."? Well, I guess you could say that was what happened to Jackson and Reagan. They never fought. They never screamed or argued. They just, didn't do anything. They hardly ever kissed, sex was nonexistent, and te couple spent a lot of time apart. To try to rekindle their marriage, Lorelai was sent to live with her grandmother for the summer while they sorted things out. I suppose this was the first time Lorelai had ever picked up a guitar, amazed with it's simpleness, yet intrigued by how genius the instrument really was. Of course, she'd seen them, but she had never actually handled one. Her grandmother noticed how amazed she was by it, and decided "Well, what her parents don't know, won't hurt 'em" and began giving her lessons. After just a few weeks, Lorelai had fallen in lve with the art of music, and after the summer had ended, she could already play the simple chords of D, A, E, Em, Am, C, F, and G. Sports had completely left her mind that summer. The problem was, she couldn't tell her parents about her new love. So, when she got back home, she entered back into her normal world of running and playing ball. It was never the same...
Lorelai spent a lot of her time at her grandmother's after that. She would take the bus to her house every day after school for another music lesson, sometimes even skipping practice for whatever sport she was in at the time. It was clear that sports no longer mattered to her anymore. She was not aspiring to be on the WNBA or national swim team or whatever sports she played. She was now going to be a country singer. It was final.
However, Lorelai's skipping practice got her in trouble with her parents. Coaches were leaving mysterious voicemails asking if everything was going okay at home. Apparently Lorelai had been using their marital problems as an excuse to ditch her extracurriculars. This set her family over the edge, and when they found out what Lotelai's grandmother had been doing, they stopped it immediately. Lorelai was no longer allowed to skip practice to quote "Daydream about nonsense like making it big". Still, Lorelai couldn't help it. At fourteen, she bought her own guitar, and to keep it a secret, kept it at her grandfather's music store, which was now run by a new family, but a friend of ole' Mr. Jack was a friend of theirs, so they allowed it. She would sneak off there after practice to play and record songs, not for anyone, just for her. It was fun, and she enjoyed doing it, but she still wished that she didn't have to hide the fact she didn't want to become a athlete.
At fifteen, her parents made the decision to split, and so they got a divorce. Her mother received custody, and Lorelai may see her father every other holiday. After the split, it seemed that God was watching over the poor girl, for her mother had begun to get closer to her own mother. This ended in Lorelai's grandmother convincing them both to move out to San FranSisco with her to get a fresh start. So, with that, they packed up their things and headed here, just in time for Freshman year. Even though Lorelai still must participate in sports, her mother is becoming more lenient on the music deal. She sees potential in her, potential she didn't have at Lorelai's age. Now that that problem is over with, Lorelai now sturggles with her place at school. She's a big time jock now at Millbrook, however she wants to be a part of the musicians. Though this may be true, people aren't as accepting as they were back in Nashville, so she has to stick to what she was labeled as just a year before. Maybe this year she'll break free. She just needs a little push.

[/b]APPEARANCE:
Sixteen year old Lorelai Claire Daelune is a very pretty girl. She has an athletic build, with long legs and toned arms, standing at a nice height of 5'8, just above average. She inherited her mother's fair skin and rosy cheeks, which are always becoming rosier because she tends to blush a whole lot. She received her father's curly blonde locks and brown eyes. Her mother used to say to her as a child, "Baby, you're eyes are like a cows. Use that to your advantage, because people just melt in brown eyes. You'll have them wrapped around yout finger in not time." Her lips are something neither of her parents have. They both had relatively thin lips, but hers are especially plump. Her curves are there, though not many people make a point to call them "hot". She's normally classified as the "adorable" and "cute" type of gal. Odd, for such an athlete. Not very intimidating; However, when she gets out there on the court or the field, they are surprised. The girl's a totally different person in the game.

MENTIONABLES:
To put it simply, the girl is as sweet as can be. That is, when she's not in uniform. Though she is coupled with the jocks, she sees past her clique and talks to everyone. If you lived in a southern city for as long as she did, you would know that it was just natural to her to be nice to people. It puts the royal court and the other athletes off a bit, but she doesn't mind. They can't kick her out. She's one of the best.
She has a fear that if her athletic friends knew about her want to be a performer and not an athlete, that they would hate her. She tends to let this keep her away from hanging around the musicians. She truly likes the popularity of being one of the best athlete's on campus, but she wants so bad to just drop athletics and go be herself as a star. She keeps that a secret though.
She's very accepting, though it's to a point where it's a bad thing. She can see the good in almost everyone, and because of that, she often falls from her little cloud of happy, realizing she was yet again wrong about this person. She tends to get her heart broken because of this. Oh well, it makes for good song writing.
She gets extremely flustered around boys. She's not sure why, but if she likes them, she'll just close up and blush with every word he says. Some say it's adorable, but most say it's annoying and childish. That's what you get for hanging with the jocks, I guess.
The girl is very passionate. Once she sets her mind to something, she won't give up until she's satisfied. Especially with her music, she has passion. She'll stay up all night just to finish a song she's writing. Her passion for sports has shrunk a bit; however, she still manages to do well. Very well, in fact.
Being an only child, she has what's called "OCS", meaning only child syndrome. She doesn't much like sharing things, which would make her pretty competitive. She has been called a "ball-hog" quite a few times on the court. Other things include independency, a bit privileged, etc. There has been worse though. (:
She gets very jealous easily. Being raised as an only child as I said above, it's almost a given. Now, she's not a crazy lunatic bitch if she has a boyfriend ad sees him looking at a girl, but she will get a bit antsy and start confronting him in the nicest way possible. "Um...d-do you know her, o-or something?" She tries to get over it, but it's hard.
Of course, Lorelai is very musically inclined. She has been playing guitar since she was 11, making that six years of experience. She's also a very good singer. Although she wants to be a country singer, her voice is very folk-esque. Some people say you could sing anything if you had that type, however she chose country. You can see her singing and playing all sorts of genres though. She just adds her own twang to it.
And lastly, Lorelai is as innocent as a rose. Of course, she's kissed boys, but she has never gotten much passed second base, if that. She would like to save herself for the one, but with all these smooth-talking California boys, it's becoming harder and harder to say no.
