Benny was born in Minden Ontario and was an avid artist and runner from an early age. He loved to run but everything changed when during a car ride with his father on a wet and rainy day the car spun out of control and flipped before crashing in a ditch. Benny woke up from a coma three months later in the hospital it was after he tried to get up to go to the bathroom and collapsed after finding his legs wouldn't hold his weight that he learned that he was paralyzed from the waist down he would never walk again. Hi goes along in life in wheelchair.

He was devastated when he learned he would never walk again he struggled to fight in to his old school and after he kept getting bullied repeatedly his parents started looking for other schools and they found this one and soon they'd enrolled him here. He is a bit nervous about going to a new school and about being in a wheelchair and seeing how people will react to him being in a wheelchair.

He chose to get a guide dog after he discovered he could no longer reach high up drawers and pick things up off the ground. He met a counselor who introduced him to Cricket and it was love at first sight for him. He started teaching her new tricks that the training program hadn't taught her yet, they became an inseparable pair after he was attacked by a group of guys. He was rescued by Cricket who pulled the mens pants down and nipped their heels until they ran away.

He is worried that him being in a wheelchair will ruin his parents marriage because they are always arguing and are never the happy family they used to be before the accident. He doesn't want his parent to get a divorce and is often found wheeling down the streets listening to his ipod to get away from the fighting going in his house he is never far away from Cricket

APPEARANCE: he is tall and has a six pack from working on his upper body strength all the time. He has dark sea green eyes and messy black hair which he can never seem to control. His skin is pale and freckle free and he has very thin and stick like legs from not using them anymore. He looks very helpless and weak but he isn't that weak.
