HISTORY:
It's no secret that Damian is a pedophile; he tells it to almost anyone who will talk to him. He doesn't understand why he's revealing this; he doesn't even understand if he loves it or hates it. He figured this bit out about himself when he was 14. One year later, he revealed it to his friends. The majority were quite accepting of it, which Damian couldn't understand, so he convinced himself that his friends were breaking away from him. Just the opposite was happening: Damian was breaking away from his friends. Perhaps what he truly felt was that it was logical for them to push him away, or maybe he felt they deserved better than a creeper like him. Effectively, he lost trust in his friends, all because he thought they lost trust in him.

Out of fear of being beaten up, he started learning the martial art of Aikido, because it teaches how to defend one's self without hurting the attacker. In his few months of training, he had basic knowledge of concepts and skill in a few techniques, but still there is a yawning gap in his experience, especially mental training (focusing, awareness, etc.) and is quite unsure if he could defend himself if he needed.

About the time he thought he was separated from his friends, one of them, Samantha, confessed that she loved him. She asked him out, and he reluctantly agreed. She was completely smitten for him, and spent every moment she could by his side. After a month of heavy dating, Damian broke up with her. He tried his best, but it was impossible for him to love a girl he was not attracted to. He broke her heart, and did his best to quietly slip out of her life.

Throughout this, Damian's sister, Lucy, tried to brighten her big brother's mood with some good-intentioned teasing. She would invite her friends from school to their house so that Damian could look at them. Damian thought this as an extremely weird gesture, and alternated his feelings of accepting it, and scolding Lucy for abusing her friends. Even when he accepted it, he still restrained himself, never touching any girl... except for one incident.

It wasn't much, just a pat on the butt as she passed by; she barely noticed. But Damian swore that he never would and so he punished himself. With his rarely-used pocketknife, he cut a random array of wounds on his left hand, avoiding serious permanent injury by sheer luck. His father confronted him about the injury, and Damian told him everything.

In rage at the sinful creature his son had become, his father grasped Damian by his arm and his collar and forced him through the glass front door of the house. It left only bruises, but now Damian had a believable excuse for the scars.

Damian decided it was time to leave home, and told his parents he wanted to transfer to Daze High School, halfway across the country. His mother, sympathetic, thought it would be nice for him to have a fresh start. His father just wanted him as far away as possible.

APPEARANCE: He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
He has wavy brown hair and light gray eyes. He has little muscle tone and appears slim, but definitely not frail. Light-colored hair covers his arms and when unshaven, his face.
He prefers to dress casually in simple clothing such at jeans and jean-shorts, tee-shirts, sneakers, jackets, and occasionally sweatshirts.
He has a wide vocal range that can stretch from tenor to bass, and uses all of them for his speaking voice. He has no “normal” voice and will speak with a different vocal tone to different people, but usually uses only one tone per person. This can cause confusion when acquaintances of his meet up and he doesn't know which voice to use if each one knows him by a different voice.

That he might actually hurt a child.
SECRET: The scars on his left hand are not from his father pushing him through a glass door, like he claims, but are self-inflicted.
He has friendship issues; he is willing to be friendly, but not to be a friend.
GOAL: To make it through life (starting with high school) and never be physically attacked or hurt anyone else.
To control himself well enough to never hurt a child in any way.
MENTIONABLES: Due to his skill in acting, he is a very convincing liar.
