HISTORY:

Tonya Dominique was dutifully delievered to Aretha and John Hill on July 7th, 1994. Boisterous and troublesome from birth, Tonya was quite a handful to raise. When Aretha reflects on her daughter's earliest years, she mainly recalls each day as being a symphony of Tonya's shrill, discordant screams. Two years or so later, the comparatively sweet and refreshing Trina was added to the family. The following six years were tranquil, despite the chaos and struggle of starting a new family. Aretha and John were satisfactory parents, and the family of four lived in a modest house in Georgia. These years were filled with laughter, with affection, with happiness. Any of the Hills would unanimously agree-- this was undoubtedly the best time of their lives.

When Tonya was at the age of nine and Trina at six, their father became the victim of a drunk driving accident, the fault being of the other. John Hill died immediately upon impact, leaving his wife and daughters behind. After grieving his tragic death, Aretha began working a multitude of jobs in order to support her children, even going so far as to accept the more... promiscuous careers-- not to the young Tonya and Trina's knowledge, of course. To cope with the loss of her father, Tonya's personality took an even more pugnacious and aggressive manner. She became largely independent, realizing that there was no longer any person for her to depend on, and instead offered support to her younger sister.

It was though her more promiscuous job that Aretha met Tyrone Carter, one of her regular clients. He soon decided to take their purely physical partnership a step further, escorting her on dates and such. Aretha quickly fell for his charms-- and his bank account wasn't bad, either. With an opportunity like this, which could ensure that her daughters would never suffer through poverty, how could she possibly say no when he proposed? Tonya had just turned fourteen when the two married, and the inevitably dysfunctional family moved to California, as if a change of scenery would allow them to 'start over.'

Tyrone immediately made it obvious that he disliked the girls. He demanded that Tonya be seen to a boarding school, far away enough to not be bothered by her rowdiness. It only took a few impressive pamphlets praising Daze High School to convince Aretha that Tonya would be better off there. Not that Tonya minded too much. The feelings of hatred between her and her stepfather were mutual. Tonya's only regret was to leave Trina to fend for herself, but Tonya assured herself that their mother would handle any problems. The past two years at Daze High have went by smoothly for Tonya. Nothing too dramatic, just the way she likes it. (Possibly will change this last part, if I develop something.)

APPEARANCE: At roughly 190lbs, Tonya is definitely not what you'd call skinny. She's been overweight for the majority of her life, though the number varies due to her switching between heavy dieting and indulgence. Being 5'7", she's not quite on the short side, either, so her weight is distrubuted well, at least giving her curves. Her ethnicity gives Tonya the distinguished traits you'd expect of an African American: warm, milk-chocolate skin, with the occasional blemish, as most teenagers have; dark, roughly textured hair, which she usually straightens and styles; a flatter, wide nose. She takes particular pride in her eyes-- almond shaped and colored sultry dark brown. Though it might not quite meet the modern beauty standerd, Tonya can still be accurately described as being 'pretty.'
