HISTORY:
Rauchelle Lee Stanley was born into a Romani family, commonly known as "gypsies". Of course, I know what you're thinking. "Gypsies? Thieves, Con-men, liars? She's a gypsy? They're bad news!" No, that is not the case with The Stanley Family.

The Stanley family is part of a Traveling Clan, which only participates in the moving portion of Gypsy Lifestyles. Each of her family members and family friends of the clan do not have a set job. They work for a few months to a couple of years and move across the country to find work. THey do many different jobs, but mostly help out on farms. The Stanley Family specializes in getting farms up and running for big-time farmers, only to move to the next one when the job is done.

Rauchelle loves the way she lives. As a child, her family managed to keep her on the same farm for seven years, teaching her how to collect chickens' eggs, ride horses, and milk cows. She took a particular liking to horses, and spends most of her time with them. Of course, after she was old enough, her family began their usual moving. She moved at least every year, sometimes more than once; However, she still had the horses at each farm to keep her company. Although, now she seldom sees the horses. Why, you ask? It's a long story.

You see, Rauchelle's family group used to be much larger. The families loved their lifestyle too until the media began sucking them in one by one. Rauchelle wasn't experiencing what other girls her age were experiencing such as dating, computers, fun, etc. Every time she would get a new friend, she'd have to move and leave them behind. THis started giving Rauchelle commitment issues as well as nto being able to get close to anyone. So, on her fourteenth birthday, her parents surprised her with the news that she would not be a part of the gypsies anymore. THey wanted her to experience what normal teenagers experienced.

This struck a nerve with Rauchelle, and she threw a fit. Of course, her parents didn't change their mind, and ended up sending her to live with her aunt in the city anyway. FOr a while, Rauchelle didn't say a thing to anyone. However, she started getting used to this new lifestyle. Of course, she still misses her old lifestyle on the farm away from the cruel world, however, it's sort of refreshing to know she will be able to stay in one place until she finishes high school.

Something she has found interesting about the city was fashion. Since she was ten, she had always sewed clothing, though it was nothing as beautiful as some one the designs out there. Last summer, she began to learn about sewing more high-fashion clothing, and suddenly fell in love with it. THis is a stress reliever for her.

For fear of being judged, she keeps her real life a secret, except from those who are lucky enough to get to know her, which is seldom, though you may be the lucky one to break through her walls.

APPEARANCE:
THe girl is relatively underweight, having not been introduced to the junk food of America as a child. She has dark brown, long hair that hangs across her chest. It is rarely up, and is either in it's natural state, curly, or straightened. Her eyes are quite large and are considered "cow eyes" by many people who know of these large browns. Some consider her to be lanky, which could be true and not true. She has very toned calves and arms from helping on her family's farm during the summer months. Her cheeks and jawline are very deifned, as are her plump lips. Overall, she's very pretty, and is considered one of the more beautiful in her "group".

+Independent: Being what she is, the girl is very independent. She spends a lot of her spare time alone, and feels much more accomplished when she does things herself, rather than someone helping her. This can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing when it comes to boys. THey seem to think she's fragile, and sometimes it takes her yelling at them to let them know she is not a princess. She can do almost everything herself, that's for sure.

+Vague: Rauchelle doesn't like telling people about herself and her family. She feels people will judge her for how her family lives,a nd feels ignorance is bliss in most cases. Of course, if she is really close to someone, she will tell them of her lifestyle, especially if its a best friend or a relationship becoming more serious. She just hates having to go through the stereotypical "Holy, you're a what?" Yeah.

+Naive: Because she grew up in a sheltered environment until this year, Rauchelle doesn't know much outside the caravan. She doesn't watch tv, listen to the radio, and she doesn't do any drugs. Although, she has been homeschooled, and knows all about sexual acts and hormones and stuff, so she isn't too far under the rock. She'll learn a lot in the next four years.

+Hot-headed: She hates it when people think she's the common gypsy. She's not a thief, nor is her family, and she gets pretty angry when people jump to taht conclusion. She'll pop you right in the head if you ask her she is a classic gypsy. She's not. Look it up.

+Intriguing: Supposedly, the girl is very intriguing. She keeps herself a secret, hence making people feel like they MUST get to know her. She doesn't mind. She secretly likes the attention.

+Persuasive: Her ancestors were thieves and conmen back in the day in Europe, so it's understandable that she has the persuasive trait each of her ancestors possessed. She can get almost anyone to do anything with just a bat of the eyelashes. She enjoys this fact about her, though she uses it in mostly good ways, hardly ever does she use this to manipulate people to do things they don't want to.

+Hates Commitment: She tends to run away from everything when something gets too serious. Countless relationships have ended because the boy wanted to be closer. She's waiting for that "guy" that she can trust with her secrets to muster up the courage to actual commit.
