HISTORY:
Alex was born in England, and has always been that child who has strived for the best. He had been lucky his whole life - even though his family had a history of degenerative bone disease, he escaped it, as the gene is recessive. Since the two children did not develop the disease and it was often found in their later years, their mother Davina always overprotective of them. She found the death of her mother difficult enough. However, he had bad eyesight, so he was forced to wear large glasses.
When he was seven, he developed a dream, after watching a TV show called the Apprentice. He wanted to become an entrepreneur. He wanted to make big money, to do something with his life. Being a boy who lived in the rougher outskirts of Manchester, he hadn't had the best of starts. So from then on, he knuckled down, cracking on with working instead of being the free kid he should have been, playing out with his friends.
His parents were worried for him of course. They got him a therapist, and even phoned the school. People thought he was weird. He isolated himself, filling what space was usually take up by friends with his comic books, and his fanatic love of books like Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. He wasn't just a geek. He was a super geek. And he was pretty proud of it.
Age 11, he was ready to get himself into the school that would guarantee him a place at Oxbridge - Eton. He had heard of the place on the news and knew only the best of the best got into there. Alex didn't even care that his parents couldn't afford it. He knew they did full scholarships for their smartest. On the day of his exam, he met Mason. He was like his opposite. Older, more mature, and popular. He started to realise how introverted and weird he was. When he went to board there, him and Mason became close friends, as they shared the same room. He changed him - Made him more sociable, less awkward.
But when Mase was expelled from there, Alex felt alone. He went back to his old ways, studying and studying, and reading his comics. He was bullied for a period of time. He couldn't bear it. It just had to stop. A quick phone call, and his family sent him and his rebelling sister to Daze.

APPEARANCE: Alex is a tall boy, (about 5'11) who has bright brown eyes. His hair is short and a mousy brown. He's not the type of kid who you'd think was a geek - he had a "very good face for modelling", as his dear mama used to say. Alex has an awkward smile, which some girls think is cute, and an awkward posture - he stands with his feet together, making him look a little haughty. His fashion sense is very hipster. Which is what he loves about how he dresses. It was a great excuse to wear over-size glasses and not be pushed around.
