HISTORY:
Seventeen years ago, on a March morning, Remy June Dessin was born to Katherine and Malcolm Dessin. She grew up to be the "perfect" daughter. A talented piano student, straight-A student, and a charming ballet student, Remy made her parents proud. In return to her succeeding success, Remy became Malcolm's precious princess. Designer clothes filled Remy's closet since the day Remy could say, "Chanel". However, Remy always chose the comfy T-shirts from her old clubs and vacations.
Remy went to a private all-girls school among rich, snobby children. Her own friends would volunteer, to please the fellow student body, and complain 2 minutes later. Remy tried to ignore the selfishness and gossip, it simply was not the way Remy was brought up, but at times it slipped Remy and wrapped her in a warm welcome.
Soon enough Remy herself "ruled the school". She would fix her mask each morning and taunt the unprivileged at her school. As long as her grades remained the same, and Remy followed her father's rules, her parents were very happy with Remy. Remy becoming a cheerleader only made her parents more pleased. Boys from other schools began to notice Remy and her enchanting life. Although Remy had her standards, the boys would try to change her mind. From simply staying 30 minutes passed curfew to drugs, Remy would reply a stern, "No."
A Friday night not long ago, Remy was looking her best. She would be arriving at a party in a few minutes. She would dance, mingle, and meet this charming young man. The young man would take her by the hand and slip her away. He would kiss her. But when the clock strikes 10, Remy would fight to get back up, to get back up. The charming young man would then push her onto the bed, bruises forming on her wrists. At 11 that night, an hour after curfew, Remy would come home smelling like beer and mascara running down her cheeks. Her father shook his head and the rest was a daze...
