HISTORY:
Cola Colista is her real name. It is strange, but you have got to admit that it has a certain ring to it. It was originally a joke on her parents' part, when during her mother, Gina's pregnancy she and her husband joked about calling her Cola. In the end it stuck.

Cola grew up behind the wrought-iron gates of a handsome mansion in Connecticut.
One might expect that with the type of wealth she enjoyed, that she was a happy child. She wasn't. Not entirely,
With the constant restrictions placed upon her from her mother and her otherwise rather wealthy family, she was not allowed to experience the same joys that most other children did. That meant, regular cello, ballet, German and French courses. That meant that she was not supposed to interact socially with those children that weren't as wealthy. Though her mother was definetely a snob, she was never unkind to her beloved children.

It was her father whom she was closest to, in any case. Her father, Nicolas, would take her out for ice cream and buy her anything her heart desired. He would be the one who showed her how to fly a kite, how to ride a bike and score a goal playing soccer.
Even in childhood her life was never simple. She couldn't seem to make friends in school. The girls were too girlyfor her and the boys would not let her play with them. Her social life was limited quite a bit.

When Cola turned eight, her father passed away. Her questions about the cause of his death remained unanswered by her mother and older brother, Alain.
When she turned eleven she ran away from home for the first time in her life, after her mother went out with another man. For dinner at a local restaurant. She considered that act to be cheating on her dead father. She never got all that far away in the end. Her mother's new crush called Lance managed to find her at the nearby train station and had to drag her back home. He was a strict, no nonsense type of man, as she was forced to discover soon enough. She hated him, she still does.

Three years after that incident, when Cola turned fourteen, her mother married Lance, making him her new step-father. What is worse is that he brought his own daughter out of his first marriage, Sophia, with him. If there is any person she hates even more than Lance, it is Sophia. She incorporates everything she hates in a girl with her preppiness and nailpolish collection.

After causing a lot of trouble by shoplifting in a clothing store, her new "daddy" decided that it would be best if she were sent to a boarding school at the other side of the country. Namely, in San Francisco. All of her begging a pleading completely ignored, Cola is sent to this prestigous boarding school, not quite knowing what to expect. Joining as a junior she feels that she will be labelled as a social outcast right away.
