HISTORY:. Calla was raised by her grandparents after her mom and dad got into a big car accident when she was two. She can't really remember them but know what they looked like only from pictures and stories of them her Nan had told her. It wasn't hard for her because she had friends and her family loved her dearly. But not ever meeting them bothered her some. Knowing that there's nothing she can do but to make their spirits proud, she grew and did everything she could to make herself happy along with her parent's.
School was alright. But she could've lived without all the drama in junior high. grade 8 and 9 was horrible for her. Everyone seemed to have something against her. Her friends turned from her, and she couldn't talk to a guy she thought was cute without stuttering her but off like a moron. But when she got to grade 10, everything seemed to change. Calla did to. her hair and her style anyway. She stilled loved her grandparents and the new friends she made she would take a bullet for.
But with high school more drama comes. This time, Calla's new friends backed her up when things went wrong, instead of leaving her. Her grandfather died the summer before school started for grade 11 and she was devastated. Going to school was one thing that took her mind off of everything. So going into grade 11 was hard but her grandmother kept a smile on her face by keeping a smile on hers.
She was in all academic courses and soon realized that she close to failing some of them. When her Nan got her report cards, she grounded her for getting a 70 so when she got a 62 in her world history course she went crazy. Calla's Nan went crazy for her marks, trying to keep them up so she can go to a good school. Calla knew that she was doing the best she could but still trying hard to do better to please her.
Hanging out with friends and meeting new people took time away from her studies but to her it was worth it. All those years without friends drove her completely bonkers so she was living in the moment and trying her hardest to keep her friends as well as her grades where they are. So balancing the two are her biggest priority at this moment in time.
