HISTORY:
Valentine was born in her families house in Dublin, Ireland. Her father, James, had been away in Egypt at the time on an expedition. Valentines mother, Larita, had a difficult birth, and had to go the hospital soon after Valentine was born. Larita's sister Claritha took care of Valentine while Larita went to the hospital. A few hours later Larita returned home and was very tired. Claritha stayed the night to help look after Valentine and the boys so that Larita could rest. The midwife and Claritha had thought that they were going to lose Larita during the delivery so they made sure to take extra good care of Larita and the baby who was in perfect health.

3 years later Larita was pregnant again with her fifth child. When Larita went into labor she was in labor for 5 hours. Valentine's oldest brother Cameron who was 12 at the time was really worried for his, and was on the phone the whole 5 hours with his dad who was in China trying to catch a flight home. Valentine was playing on the floor with her brother's Jason and Peter who were 6 and 10 when Claritha came out of the bedroom crying. Everyone looked up at their aunt worried, except for Valentine who just looked confused. Claritha took a few moments than took the phone from Cameron and went into the study and shut the door so no one could here her. Cameron went to the door to try and listen in, but he couldn't distinguish any words from what his aunts crying sobs. Finally Claritha came out and looked a little more composed and told them that their mother had just died giving birth to their little sister, who was also dead.

James was very heartbroken when he returned to Ireland, but tried to make the best of it for his kids, especially Valentine who didn't know that she was never going to see her mom again. After the funeral James asked Claritha if she could take care of his kids. Claritha gladly accepted his offer. Claritha lived with her husband Eddie and daughter Louisa in a very large house in London. Claritha and her husband were very rich, were at the top of all of high societies list. So as such Valentine grew up in high society life, going to lots of parties and always have the best clothes and up to date technology.

Valentine got to see her dad during the Holidays, and for all her brothers and her birthdays. During the summer her dad would let them come to the dig sites with him. When Valentine went to her dad's dig sites she like to mingle with the locals, and learn the language and customs. As soon as the school year rolled around she went back to London with her brothers.

When Valentine was 18 her aunt and uncle sent her to Daze, this high end boarding school which was supposedly really good. Valentine didn't really care that she was being transfered to another school her senior year. To be perfectly frank she was actually pretty excited. Valentine loves new things, and as much as she was sad about leaving her friends and her teammates back in London, she was equally excited about all the new things she would encounter at Daze.
