HISTORY:
-Vanesa's father is Spanish, hence his name, both first and last. Her mother was Irish. Therefore, that makes Vanesa Spanish/Irish mixed race. Vanesa was born in San Diego, to Manuelo and Michelle. They were a happy family for 2 years, a normal family with 2 kids. Until Vanesa's dad started to act weirdly. He started to come home late, and even stay out all night, and come morning, would sneak into the house, as if he has been there that entire time. Vanesa was too young to realise anything wrong about this, but her 7 year old brother, Gabriel, started to suspect something. He was the only one. Their mother was oblivious to what was going on, and, as mentioned before, Vanesa was too young.

A couple of years passed. Vanesa's father acted the same. Gabriel, who was now 9, was still suspicious of their father, but he had no proof. Until one day, Vanesa, her mother and her brother went on a 2 week vacation to Florida. Vanesa's dad 'had to work', so he didn't come. They were in Florida for 1 week and 5 days, then reports of a huge thunderstorm blocking the route from Florida to San Diego came. Their choices were to either go home 2 days early, or stay in Florida for an extra week, not able to go back home because of the massive storm. Gabriel and Vanesa had school, and their mother had work. So they came home early. When they came home, Vanesa had fallen asleep. She did not see what her mother and brother saw. That was their father, asleep, in his and Vanesa's mother's room, with another woman, half his age.

Vanesa never really found out what happened when her brother and mother saw that, she never knew what they really felt, never knew the expressions on their faces. She did know what happened afterwards. Her mother gasped, and dropped Vanesa. Their dad and the unknown woman woke up, and the woman gasped. Vanesa's dad just bit his lip. He wasn't even sorry. The woman left, after kissing Vanesa's dad. Gabriel was old enough to understand what was going on. For the past two years, his father had been cheating on his mother.

10 years passed. Vanesa was now 14, and Gabriel was 19. Vanesa's father had moved out to be with 'Auntie Mandi', and they had had another kid. Aiden. Vanesa's father sent money to care for Gabriel and Vanesa, but he hadn't seen them in over 10 years. He didn't really care for them, he just gave money because it was the law. Vanesa had forgotten what he looked like! Anyway. Vanesa was getting sort off depressed. Yes, pretty much all the people she knew's parents were divorced, but at least each of them got to see their parents. Vanesa didn't even know what he looked like. Plus she barely had any friends. So she got into skateboarding. It took her mind off things. She started to really get the hang of ckateboarding, and (although she was the only girl) all the boys at the skate park treated her with respect. She started to get over her depression, and make more friends at her school.

When she was 16 (the age she is now), Vanesa's brother Gabriel was killed in a car crash. Vanesa was devestated, she had been extremely close to him. Her mother couldn't take the stress, so sent Vanesa to 'the best boarding school she could find': Daze. Vanesa was shunned over to he school, and now resides in Daze.

-Vanesa used to have long curly oak brown hair, that tumbled down to her waist, but has since cut it shorter and dyed it black, and now straightens it. She has piercing brown eyes and very pale skin, earning her the nicknames 'Pasty girl' 'Phantom face' and 'Ghost girl'. She is quite slim, due to her skateboarding, but often has scars and bruises upon her body, due to her never wearing her skateboarding guards and helmet.
