HISTORY:
Ashlee was born in a small town in California, about 4 hours or so away from San Francisco to Kerri and Matthew Knight. She was, and still is, an only child. When she was about four years old, she started calling herself Mollie instead of Ashlee, and for some reason unknown to her parents, or anyone else for that matter, she changed her name every so often. Sometimes her name will be the same for up to two years, but normally no more than that. She introduces herself as so, and usually picks unusual or strange names.

When Ashlee was seven, she changed her name to Rikki. Her name usually depends on her mood on the day that she changes it. She kept Roxi until she was nine. When she was seven and eight, she was a complete tomboy. Boy shorts, t-shirts and tanks, running around barefoot, only 2 friends that were girls. She enjoyed climbing trees and playing sports in particular. She was considered to be one of the boys, apart from the fact that she didn't really look like one, and she still had really long, brown, wavy hair.

At age ten, her name became Lala, because she had a sudden obsession with singing. She went everywhere singing her heart out. At age ten was also the first year that she cut her hair up to a little above her shoulders, donating about 10 or 11 inches to locks of love, she can't remember. Ever since then, every two years she donates 11 or 12 inches of her hair, and because it grows so fast, she doesn't have to worry about cutting it too short.

Since then, she has come up with random and unique names, some not names at all and just things that she liked or that were important to her. For instance, when her dog Lane died in October, that was her name for two years. October. Her grandpa used to call her Star-girl, saying that she would become something important someday. When he died, she named herself Star. Her parents have always been okay with it, and even call her by the names she comes up with. No one knows what her actual name is, aside from her family, and she doesn't tell anyone. She doesn't consider it to be her real name, but rather her birth name.

At age thirteen, she decided that she wanted to go to a boarding school, as an experience. Her parents didn't want it though. That did matter to her, though, and she applied when she was fourteen to Daze without the knowledge of her parents. When she got accepted, she showed them, and with some persuasion, she was allowed to go. Her name is now Rayne, because she loves warm but rainy days.

APPEARANCE: Rayne is about 5'10, making most people think that she's freakishly tall, which she kind of is, especially for a girl. She's find with it though, as she never wears heels, and actually rarely wears shoes at all. She's thin, but it's not because she's annorexic or anything, it's just the way she was built. She has long, brown, wavy hair, and she often switches her part on it. She has never dyed it. Her eyes are a light green-hazel color.

FEARS: heights, and as stupid as it sounds, she's terrified of throwing up.
SECRET: She hates the name Ashlee, and has for as long as she can remember. This is one of the reasons why she changes her name.
GOAL: To stand out and get noticed, not that it's hard for her to do.
