HISTORY:

Anneka was born to her parents Frank and Fiona in the summer of '96. Well, late spring. Her parents, who were of Nigerian origin, had moved in to the UK for their studies. Summer had come early that year; everything seemed so green for May.

Anneka was always the one in the corner in her middle school; she was sent to a private school, as her parents had money and travelled alot. She had never really made friends, as she was one of the few black kids in her boarding school in Buckinghamshire. Being a racial "misfit" was like being instantly being grouped with the unpopulars, along with the scenes, "chavs" and the emos.

In upper 3rd, she found a new friend; Japan. She'd never really had a true friend, any "friends" she had would run when the blonde populars or bullies came. She found Japan's culture so... different! Anneka, in a desperate attempt to become something different, learnt Japanese, and changed her style to fit the Japanese person she'd wanted to become. She was... Obsessed.

During her downward spiral, she also made her own songs. At times where she felt bad, she simply grabbed her guitar, and strummed. She even had a band, with some of the other misfits, where she was lead singer, even though her baby face made their band look like a joke. She used it through the hard times.

It wasn't until her father told her sternly of who she was. Anneka was still very much the same little girl, with a little more experience, although a full school year had passed.The situation around her was the same; people just ignored her, as if she'd worn an invisible cloak all the time. Like any overly over-used Hollywood line, she had to remember who she was.

Unable to drop Japan, she switched schools, sure that no-one would miss her. The environment, to Anneka, was her problem. With little time left 'til their next flight, her parents hurriedly applied to Daze, for the beginning of Lower 5th. Freshman Year.

In Daze, Anneka has a lot more popularity, probably because most of the kids who were already there were "ethnically confused", as she'd say. People don't judge her by her skin-tone. At least, that's what she thinks, which was the most important thing to her.

APPEARANCE:

Altthough her parents have quite dark skin, Anneka seems to almost have the albino gene, with extremely fair hair and skin. This is because her family are Nigerian, mixed with Scottish and English people. Many who see her with her hair straightened thing she is a latina. She's often changing her hairstyle, often curling it into ringlet curls or straightened hair, to try and make her look a little older than everyone thinks. Her most recent hair colour was an auburn shade. She is 5'7", currently modelling as a job outside of school, therefore often wearing heels that take her past 6 foot.
