For Konata, being "good" wasn't ever enough. Ever since Kindergarten, she's been in the popular group, often leading it. She loved the idea of people looking up to her, even if it was forced. It gave her the feeling of being liked, admired, even though she knew they hated her fucking guts.
On the outside, there was a caring person, but on the inside , there was a manipulative bitch that she saved for worst case scenarios. Konata used to be the girl who was over-stereotyped, sweet and innocent, dressed her Barbie dolls up in random clothes that she stole from her sisters Barbie Closet. To her they were the same anyway, it wasn't like she could tell the difference unless she broke them.
Being a twin, she never really felt like she was her own person. Her parents took them to the same things, in the idea that it'll bring costs and hassle down. She hated this; she begun to blame it on her, arguing, using the idea the being the eldest meant that "No matter what, I would have still been born". These fights gradually grew them further apart and soon, they were only talking when they needed to. Konata and Kimiko decided that splitting from each other would destroy the little world that everyone put them into as twins.
Her grades dropping and her levels of care falling, Konata started to find new things to do. She changed her style to a more revealing one and started dating older guys, leading people to the conclusion that she was a slut. Which she was. When her parents got the call to move to the American department, Konata felt like her new high school was just another place to conquer...

At 5'4", Konata's an inch taller than her sister. She's kept her original hair colour, a deep brown, which looks black when not under light, which she often has in a ponytail which falls to her shoulders.
